Course Overview

If your everyday workplace presents a reasonable likelihood of coming into contact with asbestos, or you need a basic understanding of Asbestos, this Online Asbestos Awareness course is a MUST! This introductory course is designed to enable anyone in the workplace to readily identify asbestos and asbestos-containing materials (ACM), and to effectively apply control measures to minimise health and safety risks.

In this course you will:

• Be aware of and know how to identify asbestos
• Learn about the health hazards associated with asbestos
• Know-how to protect your health and the health of others in the workplace
• Understand legislative requirements

• A short 1-hour online lesson to be completed within 4 weeks* of registering
• Access through your laptop or computer anytime, anywhere
